Kieth Dyke on Nov 24, 2020

I'm David's brother Kieth. I was sad to hear of his passing. I have fond memories of the various activities we did growing up on the farm such as riding bicycles, go-cart and a doodle bug. I think David's interest in cars started at a young age. I can remember when David was about 7 and we were riding the school bus he could already identify the make of cars that would pass by the bus.
In our later years, I enjoyed our many phone conversations. I'll miss our visits.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. I met David when I lived in Omaha and when I moved to Shenandoah - we met again. He was always kind, polite and respectful to me. Loved talking to him when he hung out at McDonalds. He could talk about anything, he'd make you laugh even when laughter would escape him. He talked about his children a great deal and always fondly so...Rest in Peace my friend and may you enjoy alot of Pow Wows in heaven. Donna Hamilton

Mary, I was so saddened to see of David's passing. We both know that he is in a much better place now, but that doesn't stop our hurt. Chuck recalls all the times that David visited Claire as she aged and was unable to get out much. She really looked forward to his visits. Prayers for you and your family that God will bless you all and keep you safe and healthy in this time of uncertainty in our country.

Mary Rightmyer on Nov 18, 2020

David was my brother and there are so many memories. I looked up to him and wished I could be as popular as he was . I thought of him as the Fonzie on Happy Days. Many of the girls in his class would try to get close to me to find out about him and hopefully get a date. He was very funny and a highly sociable person. While I did not live close to him in these final years, we spoke on the phone many times and recollected of special times. My thoughts and love will be with him always.....Mary
