I met doris when she was at Elm heights where I work. I really enjoyed getting to know her. she was very sweet and had a sense of humor. I miss seeing her smiling face in the dining room.

I did not get a chance to talk with you at Legacy during your mom's last days. It was evident you were seeing her through this difficult passage. They call this disease "a long goodbye," but it must still be difficult to let go. Thinking of you and your family. We will miss seeing you and having Doris as part of our extended family at Legacy. Dorris was such a loyal, supportive user and Trustee of the Shenandoah Public Library. We always valued her services and our chats. We wish you consolation and peace.

Was so sorry to hear of Doris's passing but know she is at peace. She taught me so much, many good times in UMW and our Bible study group. We missed having her close but know she was where she should be with Deborah and the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers, her family was very important to her. Love Becky Parmenter

Knowing daughter Deborah since 1978 also meant I fondly knew Doris Perry. Doris was a beautiful lady who knew the love of her Lord and shared such love in her contacts with others. She was loving and loved. Her final week with Deborah at her side attested to the best of how to provide comfort and care. She will be missed and may her example change us.

What good memories I have of Mrs Perry. The “farm lunch” she prepared 50 years ago for me is not forgotten. And her kids were as thoughtful and kind as she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
