Sherry Lynn (Brownfield) Turnbull was born on October 9, 1964 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Jeanitta "Korkie" Brownfield. Sherry entered into eternal peace on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home in Coin surrounded by her loving and supportive family.
Sherry's early years were spent in the communities of Blanchard and Coin. She attended school in South Page and later earned her GED. On March 18, 1983 she was united in marriage to Glenn Turnbull in Blanchard, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Michelle and Joshua.
Sherry worked for Taylor Made, Pella Corp, Hy-Vee and ASK. She was a dependable and hard worker. Some of her hobbies included drawing, making wreaths, cake decorating, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was everything to her!
Preceding her in death are her mother, Korkie Brownfield, grandmother Maxine Larson and father-in-law Tom Turnbull. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 35 years Glenn; children Michelle Turnbull and Joshua Turnbull (Jacey LaRock) and loaner son Kory Nelson (Beth); grandchildren Joslyn, Seger, Miles and Adalene; sisters Nicole Price (Darin) and their children Bryce and Garrett and Tina Carpenter (Gary) and their children Heath and Ashley; brothers and sisters-in-laws Deb Turnbull (David Godfroy) and son Tanner, Patricia Baldwin (Larry) and their children John (Jenny) and Megan (Cody), Robert Turnbull and Janice Hughes (Russell) and their children Jaclyn and Jennifer; other relatives including countless friends, extended family and coworkers.

Josh and Michelle, my heart is breaking for you. Your Mom loved you and those grandkids beyond words. Sherry was strong and fierce when needed and soft and gentle too. She was loved by so many. She is never gone for I know she will be watching over you all. We love you, Michelle and Erin, Josh and Jacey, and all the kiddos so much.
